Barfrestone Barfrestone Canterbury

St Nicholas Barfrestone is a tiny, beautiful church with a small, friendly congregation who gather for regular services based on the Book of Common Prayer. We celebrate major festivals and our Patronal in December.

Many visitors and pilgrims  come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our small church.  There is a Friends of St Nicholas Barfrestone organisation, which provides an excellent guide to the church, and which helps to raise funds towards maintaining the fabric of the church and providing a Christian welcome to visitors.
